A Stunning Real Wedding at King Family Vineyards in Virginia

On June 15th, 2019, Noor and Stephen tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at King Family Vineyards. Surrounded by friends and family, the couple said their vows in front of the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge mountains. Their ceremony was filled with love and joy felt by everyone present, and included vows written by the bride and groom themselves. After the ceremony, guests were welcome to a reception in King Family’s Carriage House, where they sent the newlyweds off with a glittering farewell of sparklers.

Getting Ready to Walk Down the Aisle

The day began with the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready separately. To get ready, all the bridesmaids were gifted with matching floral pink robes so as not to disturb their hair and makeup when they changed into their dresses. While together, the women celebrated with a glass of white wine, toasting their friend and finding joy in each other’s company. While the bridesmaids got ready, the groomsmen got dressed and enjoyed a similar toast to Stephen and Noor, beginning their celebration of the couple with both white wine and beer. The morning was spent in the happiness of friendship and encouragement from loved ones, setting the tone for a day full of personal touches and love.

For the wedding, bridesmaids looked beautiful in floor-length soft blush gowns. The halter neckline of the dresses fit the season perfectly, and the simple elegance emphasized each woman’s beauty. Every bridesmaid wore her hair differently, allowing personal style to shine through. Bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses with hints of soft pink, subtly complimenting the dresses and adding depth to the flower. Matching pearl drop earrings completed the look, adding a timeless touch to the dresses.

Groomsmen looked equally handsome in navy suits and brown leather shoes. Each groomsman wore a tie the same color as the suit, except for Stephen, who opted for a classic navy bow tie with white polka dots to stand out. The men all wore white pocket squares and white boutonnieres to coordinate with the bridesmaids’ flowers, creating an elegant bridal party.

Noor looked stunning in an illusion neckline, giving the impression of an off-the-shoulder dress. The timeless silhouette paired with button detailing along the back helped establish a classic, elegant look. She accessorized the dress with a matching set of a ring and earrings, elevating the simplicity of the dress with the glamour of diamonds and adding in a “something blue” with the sapphire. She complimented the earrings with an equally glamorous shoe covered in rhinestones. Her chapel-length veil only added to the classic look and heightened the beauty of the bride.

A Picturesque Outdoor Ceremony

The couple said vows they wrote themselves under a floral arch with a view of the Blue Ridge. The King Family Vineyards venue allowed for the perfect outdoor ceremony, with guests able to take in the beauty of nature while celebrating Noor and Stephen’s love. The stunning green of summer in the vineyard only made the scenery at the ceremony more beautiful. An adorable ring bearer matching the groomsmen brought in the rings, followed by five flower girls dropping white rose petals over the aisle before Noor’s entrance. Noor and Stephen’s ceremony focused on the personal touch of their vows, and guests present were able to feel the love and bliss in Noor and Stephen’s relationship.

Celebrating the Happy Couple

After the ceremony, guests were welcome to a reception in King Family’s Carriage House. Each table at the reception boasted a floral arrangement of white roses with hints of blush to compliment the bridal party in its center. Place settings had a note thanking the couple’s parents, friends and family, and remembering lost loved ones, emphasizing the bride and groom’s appreciation for their guests. Guests were treated to macaroons, mini pies, and a wedding cake with different textures of icing on each tier and adorned with flowers. During the reception, friends in the bridal party gave speeches toasting Noor and Stephen. After finishing the meal and the toasts, guests danced the night away to music from a live band, celebrating Noor and Stephen’s marriage.

The send-off made a lovely completion to a day surrounded by happiness, well-wishes, and support from loved ones.
