Getting Dressed for the Outdoor Ceremony

Erika began her day with her bridesmaids, getting ready together, listening to music, and kicking off their celebration of marriage. While professionals did their hair, the women listened to music and drank mimosas, setting the tone for an overjoyed, fun day.

Bridesmaids wore lavender gowns, all the same color but with varying necklines and styles to suit the taste of each woman. The lavender of the dresses complimented the season well, emphasizing the green of the vineyard during the ceremony and highlighting the gold glow of the lighting during the reception. The women carried bouquets of white, blush, and lavender roses, along with silver dollar eucalyptus and hints of dark blue to further compliment the purple tones of the bridal party.

Groomsmen wore light khaki suits, sticking to the light tones set by the pastel of the bridesmaids. Lavender bow ties further coordinated with the women, along with a white boutonniere matching their bouquets. Instead of the purple bowtie, Andy opted for a white tie, separating himself from the rest of the bridal party and matching the elegance of Erika’s dress.

Erika was stunning in a fitted lace gown and elbow-length veil. Detailed lace covered the entire dress, giving it a striking yet soft elegance. She embellished the glamour of the dress with diamond drop earrings and an equally sparkling hair piece, along with peep-toe pumps embellished with rhinestones along the back for a subtle hint of glitter. The perfect balance of soft lace with glittering diamonds made Erika a gorgeous bride on her wedding day.

Erika and Andy’s outdoor ceremony was held under an arbor overlooking Morais Vineyards’ beautifully manicured landscape. Hung with tulle and flowers, the arbor created a soft backdrop complimenting the bridal party. The pastel shades of the bridal party emphasized the crisp green of spring, adding additional loveliness to the vineyard setting. The trees were in peak spring bloom, flowering with the same shade of purple as the bridesmaids as if the vineyard itself was trying to join the bridal party. As the couple was wed amidst the natural beauty of the vineyard, those present could feel the genuine excitement and love between the couple and among the guests.

A Romantic Wedding Reception

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a brief cocktail hour then moved indoors for the reception. For the reception, tables were covered with light purple tablecloths, sticking to the soft pastel mood of the day. Tables were lit with candlelight and chandeliers, providing a warm golden glow for the celebration. The combination of the lavender tablecloths and dresses with the gentle gold of the lighting made a lovely contrast, with each color bringing out the undertones of the other. Throughout dinner, family and members of the bridal party toasted the couple. Toasts included anecdotes and jokes about both Erika and Andy, and were full of well-wishes and advice for the couple as they move into the next phase of their relationship.
