We are so excited for the color and vibrance of the spring and summer weddings to come. Here is one summer wedding from this past year that took our breath away…
Meera and Nick held their beautiful wedding at CrossKeys Vineyards. Meera and her bridesmaids wore Saris as well as the traditional Mehndi on their hands and carried colorful bouquets by Rick’s Flowers.
The couple followed Indian traditions and wore flower garlands, a symbol of union, during their ceremony. Their wedding colors—pink, green and orange—were brightly incorporated into their celebration. From the rose petal lined aisle to the wedding arbor, lush with greenery and florals, it was a sight of beauty and love.
Their stunning 4-tier Peacock Henna wedding cake was designed by Passion Flower Cakes and admired throughout the evening.
Their colorful wedding was a true celebration of two cultures. Nick and Meera chose different ways to incorporate his Greek heritage and her Indian heritage into the food, traditions and decor, bringing together two diverse families to celebrate love and the start of Nick and Meera’s new journey as a married couple. This incredible combination of culture and heritage through food between otherwise distant backgrounds is one Crosskeys’ has continued to implement and perfect.
