Katie and Erik made the decision to say “I do” on the beautiful historic grounds of Keswick Vineyards, situated among the rolling hills of farmland and surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. Bright and bold in every way possible, their wedding incorporated stunning elements from the vibrant florals and greenery to their eye-catching unfrosted cake. With the help of local vendors, Katie & Erik not only created a wedding to rival but also a day to remember for a lifetime.
Katie’s wedding look involved a large-lace pattern on the front and back of her dress with buttons leading down to her mermaid train. Her dazzling teardrop earrings complemented the look.
Katie and Erik made great use of this year’s floral trend using bright and bold color palettes. They used the seasonal element of citrus for the flowers and cake, which symbolizes the color and life the couple brings into each others’ lives.

The officiant for the wedding, a beloved friend of the bride and groom, played a unique dual role in the wedding by also putting together the daring and delicious, unfrosted wedding cake, decorated in strawberries, limes, florals and mint.
The bride thought of the idea to hold the name cards in golden animal statuettes. After guests found their seats, Harvest Moon Catering provided the delectable dinner.
